Need supervision & consultation?

Need supervision & consultation?

I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Consultant approved by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). To be awarded this distinction, a clinician is required to have worked directly with those struggling with eating disorders for over 6000 hours and have experience supervising other clinicians in the treatment of eating disorders. If you are a clinician or dietitian looking to become a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) or Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD), then I can assist by providing direct supervision and consultation.

YOU'RE ON A MISSION TO HELP OTHERS... SO AM I.

Specialist in trauma

As a trauma specialist, I provide consultation for those wanting more experience or knowledge with how to work with the connection between food and body image (such as eating disorders) with trauma processing. In addition, I provide a unique perspective for those working with trauma, who want to integrate a more holistic approach when working with complex trauma or PTSD. For instance, I can assist with integrating somatic, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR and Gestalt therapy into your work with clients.

I’m also excited to offer guidance in incorporating equines (especially donkeys!) and other animals in animal assisted therapy and eating disorder treatment. I’m passionate about the amazing healing that can be done through the human-animal bond, while integrating Gestalt, Sensorimotor, and process-experiential (emotion focused) psychotherapies.

SEEKING LICENSURE?

If you are seeking licensure as either a Marriage and Family Therapist or a Professional Counselor in either Colorado or California, and are in need of a clinical supervisor, I’m happy to talk with you about seeing if we would be a good fit. If you are local to Northern Colorado area (Fort Collins-Loveland) I can provide direct in person supervision and also have opportunities for client referrals and potentially shared office space.

Please contact me to discuss your specific needs and to learn about fees for consultation and supervision.

Workshops

I offer workshops several times a year to support equine professionals in learning how to integrate more somatic approaches into their equine therapy. It helps them gain experience and knowledge on how to incorporate donkeys into their equine-assisted psychotherapy services.
